In today’s FlashTalk, we introduce you to Pavel Hanuš, Callida’s  Business Development Manager. Callida concentrates on the real needs of its customers. Pavel has been working in the software solution business for over 10 years and clearly understands the industry inside out. 

WHAT IS THE COMPANY’S MAIN OBJECTIVE AND WHAT IS YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE COMPANY?

Our main objective is to identify the real needs of the customer and propose a suitable solution within our product portfolio. We cover the entire lifecycle of the contract, from the initial investment plan, through the tender and implementation, to the finished construction. I work in the company as a Business Development Manager, and I am in charge of developing the sales channel. My main task is communication with customers, but also the development of relationships with our suppliers.

HOW DID YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY?

I have been working in the software tools industry for construction for over 10 years. I gained experience with smaller local software companies. But I also worked for the multinational company Autodesk. This has interestingly intertwined the experience of two worlds, not only because of the size of the companies but also their focus.

WHO ARE YOUR TARGETED CUSTOMERS?

Our ideal clients are investors, developers, and general contractors. It is mainly middle to senior management that needs to integrate the information system into existing processes and gain greater control over the data that the company goes through.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN PROBLEMS YOU SOLVE?

For most customers, we work with data. Companies very often acquire and manage data for orders in Excel or several unconnected software. We help them analyse the current situation and propose a suitable solution through an information system that gathers all data about projects in one place. This gives our clients total control over orders and with simple tools we provide them with summary information that is necessary for their business.

WHAT IS MOST INTERESTING IN YOUR SOLUTION? WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?

Our solution is fully adaptable to the specific needs of the customer. We listen to them carefully and then tailor the system to meet their requirements. Thanks to this, we can satisfy even very specific customers and we are proud to be able to provide solutions that need repair.

WHAT IS YOUR MAIN CHALLENGE NOW?

The biggest challenge for us at the moment is BIM. We see the future in BIM and we have already integrated tools into our solution that can extract essential data from the BIM model for subsequent work with the order.

HOW DO YOU DIFFERENTIATE YOURSELF FROM OTHER COMPETITORS?

Clearly, in that, we are fully adaptable to the client’s requirements and do not limit us or the customer’s system options. We also distinguish ourselves from the competition, by the fact that our solution is an information system that we are able to integrate together with other tools into the company.
